By engaging our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

Services Provided

A Sharper Edge provides professional leather care services including but not limited to:

  • Deep leather cleaning and conditioning
  • Leather restoration and color restoration
  • Stain and scratch removal
  • Zipper and hardware repair/replacement
  • Custom reupholstery services
  • Leather conditioning and protective treatments

Service Estimates and Pricing

All service estimates are provided based on initial assessment and may be subject to change upon detailed examination. Factors that may affect final pricing include:

  • Extent of damage or wear
  • Type and quality of leather
  • Complexity of restoration required
  • Additional treatments needed

Final pricing will be confirmed before any work begins. You will be notified of any additional costs that may arise during the service process.

Payment Terms

  • Payment is due upon completion of services unless other arrangements are made in advance
  • We accept cash, check, and major credit cards
  • For large restoration projects, a 50% deposit may be required
  • Returned check fee of $35 applies for any returned payments

Customer Responsibilities

To ensure the best possible service, customers are responsible for:

  • Accurately describing the condition of leather items
  • Disclosing any known damage, stains, or previous treatments
  • Removing personal items from leather goods before service
  • Providing accurate contact information for service updates
  • Collecting items within 30 days of service completion

Service Limitations and Disclaimers

While we strive for excellence in all our services, certain limitations apply:

  • Results may vary based on the age, condition, and type of leather
  • Some stains or damage may be irreversible due to the nature of the material or previous treatments
  • Color matching on restored items may not be perfect due to aging and wear patterns
  • We do not guarantee complete removal of all stains or damage

Care Instructions After Service

Following our professional services, proper care is essential to maintain results:

  • Follow any specific care instructions provided with your restored items
  • Avoid exposing recently treated leather to extreme conditions
  • Use only recommended leather care products for maintenance
  • Store leather items in appropriate conditions when not in use

Liability and Insurance

A Sharper Edge maintains comprehensive insurance coverage for our operations. In the unlikely event of damage to your property while in our care:

  • Document the condition of items before and after service with photographs
  • Report any concerns immediately upon receipt of your items
  • Our liability is limited to the value of the item as declared or appraised
  • We are not responsible for damage to items that were not properly disclosed as damaged

Customer Satisfaction Policy

Your satisfaction is important to us. If you are not completely satisfied with our service:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of service completion to discuss any concerns
  • We will work with you to address any issues within a reasonable timeframe
  • Re-service may be offered at no additional cost for quality concerns
  • Refunds are available in cases where we cannot meet our service commitments

Intellectual Property

All content, designs, and methodologies used in our services are proprietary to A Sharper Edge. We retain all rights to our techniques, processes, and materials developed for leather care and restoration.

Privacy and Data Protection

We respect your privacy and handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Customer information is used solely for providing our services and will not be shared with third parties without your consent.

Modifications to Terms
